Curriculum
In the Prep, a carefully considered, broad, diverse, and varied curriculum provides our pupils with ample opportunities to enhance their confidence and skills, enabling them to nurture their unique talents and interests. In the Senior College, students pursue a balanced core curriculum during Upper Third and Lower Fourth (Years 7 and 8), after which they make option choices for their GCSE studies at the beginning of Upper Fourth (Year 9).
Special emphasis is placed on the subjects of English, Maths, Science and Computing. Technola Computing incorporates coding, robotics, computer hardware, and research projects to stimulate and challenge students whilst fulfilling the criteria of the Computing national curriculum in England and we are in partnership with UKFAST to develop digital ambassadors through our Pi Café.
Pupils also have the opportunity to further develop and explore skills through Humanities, Art and Design, with dedicated subject specialist teachers in sports, music, Spanish, and French. As they progress to Preps 5 and 6, the curriculum expands to include transition activities. Pupils engage in Design Technology in the College tech labs, explore Musical Theatre with our Director of Performing Arts, and delve into Science in the College Science labs.
