Find out why St Bede’s College is the place to be

At St Bede’s College our educational philosophy is built upon five fundamental pillars that shape the holistic development of our students. These pillars guide our approach to nurturing young minds, fostering personal growth, and preparing our pupils for the future. Each pillar represents a core value that underpins our commitment to excellence and our dedication to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment.

Mision

We are a community of believers who aspire to provide the students in our care with an education of excellence rooted in and sustained by our shared commitment to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, knowing that we are created by Him and inspired by truth, committed to ourselves and to each other, grateful to our families and in awe of the world around us.

Vision

The dream of Cardinal Vaughan, our founder, was to equip children with an educated conscience that would enable them to act with freedom and justice. Over one hundred and fifty years later, we aim to produce highly educated and articulate young people, strong in their faith and with the conviction to establish the kingdom of God in this world.

Aims

The school aims to develop the intellectual curiosity and creativity of every pupil through the provision of enriching curricular and co-curricular activities. It seeks to provide the right balance of support and encouragement to motivate each child to reach their full potential. It intends each pupil to leave prepared for life beyond school contributing positively to the communities in which they live and to society in general.
